These shipmates gathered in Albany, New York in September 1990 at the Holiday Inn Turf for the 1st reunion of USS Albany crewmembers. At this gathering many old acquaintances were renewed and new ones made.

At the 1st business meeting an Association Charter was formed, the next reunion chairman was elected and the listed shipmates were established as the original Chartered members

From this point on we continued with the phrase

" Still Making History "
